As you all know and feel, the holiday season is upon us. It is a time of high energy – the good, the bad and the ugly. It’s during this time when the fluffy lightness of summer is replaced with darker days and more somber moods. In our seriousness, we become more mired and present in our own “stuff.” Add relatives to the mix and we have much to ponder, much to feel.
And let’s face it… there’s a ginormous shift happening on the planet that is shaking us awake in terms of our financial security. We are being called to a more creative existence and monetizing our gifts instead of our time. I love this shift, but that’s an entire other topic…
So, while we are feeling the winds of change and fear creeps in, as it will, there is a very simple exercise we can do to eradicate it and make ourselves feel better. And as you know, it’s in that place of feeling better where the real magic happens. That’s when we are clear channels and better able to influence our outcomes telepathically in a positive direction! (Another topic altogether.)
Here’s the simple exercise: It’s called Rampage of Appreciation. I learned this from Abraham-Hicks and use it all the time. When you become aware that your mood is in a lesser state, take a time out to appreciate what is around you. Start simple. Appreciate the sofa you might be sitting on and where the fabric came from to make it, and who made it out of what natural resource and how it ended up in your living room. Appreciate the running water that runs hot and cold. Appreciate the plants growing outside and how they are always so consistent, or the guy who bagged your groceries or that silly TV show that makes you laugh or that child or pet of yours who loves you no matter what… See where I’m going with this?
A lot is happening in this moment: 1. You are aware of your emotional state (That’s huge! Most people are spewing crazy and totally unaware, which creates more of the same). 2. You have stopped the momentum of the lesser emotion. 3. You are purposely changing your vibration, thereby taking control of yourself and your emotional state, which affects EVERYTHING.
A Rampage of Appreciation is powerful stuff! There is always SOMETHING we can find to appreciate even in the worst of circumstances. Our focus to that will create big dividends in creating a better reality for ourselves.
Above is a great video of Jessica demonstrating such a rampage: Enjoy!
