As a lover of words, I am sick to death of the politically correct usage of the word, “intuition” to describe our psychic senses.
I was shocked to see one of my original psychic development mentors remove the word, “psychic,” not only from her website, but from her vocabulary as well. She is the one who inspired me to love the word many years ago, as it means “of the spirit.”
My work as a psychic and soul coach is a sacred one. I am honored to work with amazing, sensitive people who know there is much more to them that meets the eye. They feel their inner stirrings and compulsions, yet are not sure what to do with them.
That’s where I come in. I teach them, first and foremost, to trust the information they are receiving. In fact, I teach them how to more fully tap into that information – sort through it and ask for more guidance – knowing full well that it is readily available to them at anytime. I help them cultivate their sixth sense or psychic guidance system. It is within every single one of us.
Not only can we receive information, we can read the energy of others – people, places and things. We can effect outcomes, manifest our desires and heal our own bodies. We are limitless in the things we can do, create, have and be.
This goes beyond intuition. Intuition is soft and passive. It’s a step above instinct. Most people do need to develop and trust their intuition more to create a life of grace and ease, but tapping into your psychic abilities moves mountains! It is the more bold and audacious expression of your spirit. It liberates you of fear and puts you in the driver’s seat of your life.
Intuition is yin, receptive energy, while psychic is yang, active energy. We need to develop both for a healthy balance.
I proudly call myself psychic and practice psychic arts. I am a psychic artist. This is my calling. I refuse to church it up or dumb it down. I embody my sixth sensory abilities and honor those women who came before me who were ostracized, ridiculed, murdered and imprisoned for expressing their authentic, powerful selves, who also came here to heal the world and make things better.
This current climate is ripe for psychic artists to remember their brilliance and stand up. You have studied and honed your craft into its unique expression. It’s not time to shrink or be nice or politically correct. Howard Thurman once said, “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
My dad always used to tell me, “Kiddo, you’ve got a lotta moxie.” He raised me to believe in myself and to express myself without apology. I did turn down my volume for a bit to be more pleasing, for fear of what people thought of me. I was raised by my society, after all, to be a good girl.
Well, f*ck that. Here I stand in my full glory. It feels good and right to claim my gifts, share them with others and empower those who are interested.
I invite you to step up and into your psychic brilliance. You don’t have to go pro – that’s not the point. Just tap in, tune in and turn on what is already there. It’s your divine light, your connection to source, where all of the answers are.
Your higher self, your psychic self, your spirit self – is waiting for you to show up and do your thing like only you can. Will you?

Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us;
It’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we’re liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
